EGAL  was founded Novembre 1995, and since then has experimented a rapid growth basically due to the high quality standards that rules every process in every job it take. EGAL  has performed successfully different surface geological projects at the beginning, specially for PDVSA Intevep and PDVSA E&P . Has also collaborated in developing a subsurface structural and stratigraphic model for the Las Cruces Oilfield (West Venezuela) for Tecpetrol de Venezuela. Establishing since its first projects a good reputation based on the quality of the job done on the right time, it has been called by Tecpetrol International to help their team perform marginal oilfields evaluations (Area Mayor of Oficina, East Venezuela).

Later on, PDVSA Intevep invited EGAL  to perform different subsurface studies ranging from core description with sedimentological modeling to fractures characterization, these studies have been carried out on fields such as Ceuta in Lake Maracaibo (West Venezuela ), Orocual field in North Monagas (East Venezuela ) some others jobs have been performed for clients such as Exxon de Venezuela , Maersk Oil and Blackwatch - Robertson Research.

EGAL has always believed in the importance of high skilled personnel, technology and the quality data. The mix of these three is the basis of any successful further study. So, EGAL  started in 1998 building a shop specialized in document management and well log data vectorizing. Since, EGAL 's  reputation delivering very high quality data is unquestionable. We have converted 100s of millon of curve feet to  PDVSA E&P .

Our firm has been providing a multi-disciplinary approach since our inception in 1995. We combine a full scope of skills in order to provide clients with credible results. That synergistic, multidisciplinary approach facilitates the most precise, dependable, scientific studies possible.

Since 1996, EGAL  has developped geoscientific softwares  such as its flagship product Sirius and in information technology such a s Merak, Vega and Kokab.
