Raster to Vector Conversions

WellLogs:    

Egal's team of digitizers is one of the most experienced in the industry. Through our rigorous, proprietary quality control and completion procedures, we deliver the best available Analogue/Vectorial Ascii data to the oil industry. Raster to vector Well-Logs data conversion is performed using a unique technology software. Since quality is our prime concern, we have developed our own proprietary software that help QC the data and let us provide enhanced, workstation-ready well log data. Egal offer one of the largest digitizing capacities and can tailor small, medium and very large projects to meet your exact needs. 

 

Maps and Drawings: 

Most types of maps and drawings such as topographic, geologic maps and mechanical and engineering drawings can be scanned and vectorized using different commercial and non commercial softwares. High accuracy capture of documents up to 50 inches is performed using industry standard scanners such Anatech Eagle SLI 3080 for up to 36 inches black and white documents and the Contex Magnum 3050 up to 50 inches black and white and 24 bit color. Vectorial output formats are the ones used in the industry as a standard such as DXF-DRW, DGN and SHP....  

 

Maps Editing:    

Map editing is performed on state of the art CAD Workstations. Final maps are prepared using AutoCAD, Microstation, ArcVIEW, and Descartes. Maps are plotted on a Hewlett Packard Designjet.

Scanned images of Well-Logs and Maps can be overlaid on-screen with vectorial data and if needed captured from the same images. 

 

Workstation ready Well Logs:    

Egal offers unique data standardization and matching product supporting the broadest range of well-logs data types, well integrity validation followed by data capture (when needed) and data processing will yield to the best workstation ready well-logs data available. We intend the Creation of standardized datasets, with the highest possible data integrity. Well information such as API number, operator, well name, and well number will be verified for accuracy. 

Digitized data will be quality controlled against hard copy prints or their respective scanned images. Log header parameters and information will be validated and if needed captured and provided in the LAS file header. Original logging contractor mnemonics, when modified or processed can be renamed under clients specifications and needs. 

Data Processing under the exact specifications of our clients can be performed: Data values below First Reading and in casing can be removed and replaced by the null values desired by our clients. All curves will be depth adjusted to the Induction log. SP manual and automatic shifts will be removed and the drifted shale baseline adjusted. 

Bulk Density will be calculated from Density Porosity using the appropriate matrix and fluid density values. Where resistivity curves are presented on a log print linearly, the digitized CILD will be reciprocated. Where the deep resistivity curve values are less than 10 OHMM the curve values will be rep aced with the corresponding conductivity values. Curves calibration will be performed if necessary. 

Merging of subsequent runs can be performed resulting in maximum depth coverage. Standardized generic mnemonics can be adopted to simplify the workstation environment by allowing the use of templates and quickly identify and load the correct data. Gaps or missing data values can be treated according to clients needs, they can be straight-lined or averaged Sonic cycle skipping can be edited Simple and Complex depth shifting and much more processing can be performed... 

 

Workstation ready Maps and Drawings:   

GIS development services include thematic separation of different layers, geocoding and referencing, integration of various layers, etc... Data values can be separated by themes (roads, rivers, topography, geologic information….)
